The resulting improvements included over a 50% reduction in reportable events and reduced loading in the discharge water.  Took a proactive approach to stakeholder engagement, particularly the local community as a key member of the community consultative forum. Kept the community updated on all environmental issues though direct participation at the monthly community forum. Also maintained direct and ongoing contact with the affected community members to ensure concerns were addressed and were satisfied by the level of involvement from the company. During the period of this campaign no formal complaints were raised.  Successful in the conduct of an environmental risk assessment required as part of the process in the application for a Development Approval, complicated by the fact that, due to an historical error, the site was already operational.
