This is a multi-facetted role requiring technical and interpersonal skills. The role starts with regular interactions with business and application teams to gather and analyze connectivity requirements. This leads to translation of the requirements into technical designs including routing, switching and information security parameters. Finally, the designs are converted into technical change specifications that are processed through manual and automated tools to be implemented, checked and verified and tested on redundant production network infrastructure.

Manage and Lead Desktop and Server Support Teams in support of 300+ users in the US and Bermuda. Manage through the acquisition of Forum Financial Group by Citibank including the implementation of new processes and procedures, opening new Disaster Recovery Facilities in the US and Bermuda as well as integration with Citibank network and systems.

Managed the Desktop, Server, Network, Voice and Information Security Teams. The teams were responsible for all data and voice systems in support of the US and Bermuda offices. Total staff with managers was 10, supporting a Campus environment in the US, an office in Bermuda and a small Disaster Recovery facility with a user base of 300+. The primary business was US Mutal Funds and domestic and International Hedge Funds management, Transfer Agency and Fund Accounting.

Information Technology Specialist supporting WAN and LAN networks, PC Desktop/Laptop deployment and support, Server deployment and support. Developed eCommerce infrastructure model then deployed and supported it in a multi-national hosted environment. Designated ISO, worked with Application Development team as well as infrastructure support to design and implement Information Security policy and procedures at both app and infrastructure layers.

Administrative Officer for the Electronic Systems Support Command in Boston, MA. The responsibilities included adminsitrative management of seven Electronics Systems Detachments located from Northern NJ to Maine and west to Vermont to include ratings and reviews of approx 200 employees; managemnt and upgrade of the capital property and inventory system and implementation of a recognition and rewards program for the command.

Assist in the development of the system architecture for the deployment of PC/Windows-based computer systems throughout the Coast Guard. This also included leading the deploment and implementation teams to central sites designated as Tier-1 implementation sites.

USCGC SPAR (180 foot Buoy Tender based in Portland Maine). The primary responsibilities were standing watch as the Officer of the Deck while at sea and Officer of the Day while in port. This tour included assignments as the Electronic Systems Manager, Navigator and Operations Officer.
