Performed software certification of a Flight Management System for a Part-25 aircraft. Responsibilities included: • Developed high-level test case descriptions that are grouped in a Requirement Verification Analysis (RVA), which is linked to software requirements and form the basis of requirement-based tests.• Independently reviewed the requirement-based tests written by other engineers, which are then used for coverage analysis.• Reviewed low-level requirements to determine if they were ambiguous, untestable, or incompatible with the source code, then communicated results with the client by means of problem reports and emails.• Reviewed test files developed to verify the requirement to which they are traced, and ensured the test files matched test case specifications on which the tests are based.
