Co-discovered and confirmed the existence of novel QTLs (Quantitative Trait Loci) on human apolipoprotein B transgenic mice that are responsible for the variations of plasma apolipoprotein B levels, a strong predictor for coronary artery disease. Prepared mouse DNA, genotyped mice with PCR and electrophoresis, and analyzed data using Microsoft Excel, Prism, and Map Manager QT.
