Philipp Behrendt is the head of the Practice Area Disputes & Investigations of Taylor Wessing in Germany. He focuses on commercial and product liability disputes before German Courts and arbitration tribunals. Philipp advises in product safety matter also. He deals with international legal disputes, especially in the USA. In such cases he advises clients on procedural strategies, coordinates international legal teams, works on establishing the factual basis of claims and handles pre-trial discovery. Philipp is a member of DRI, the world’s largest association of defence counsel for business. For DRI he serves as Country Chair for Germany and served as Vice Chair and later Chair of the International Committee. He is also a member of the invitation-only International Association of Defence Counsel (IADC).
