Assisting the Curator of The Museum of Brands (which focuses on the history of consumer culture and advertising) with preparation for an upcoming exhibition, Adwomen, on women in advertising with the History of Advertising Trust. This task involved: • Working in close knit team with the Curator and volunteers to deadline on exhibition preparation.• Identifying objects from the collection that could fit with the themes of upcoming exhibition • object handling, moving and packing items for storage• Arranging museum displays • Checking loans reflect list from loaning organization • Conducting visual research to identify potential exhibits within theme of exhibition• assisting with tasks such as museum and display upkeep

Sole designer of premium comfort brand Giani Bernini, a Women's footwear range for Macy's private label, with emphasis on comfortable and on-trend product: Shop and competitor research, planning and designing the range, working in close collaboration with the customer, frequent presentations, technical specifications and product development including lasts and units. Frequent travel to China to supervise sampling, working closely with China PD. Sourcing exciting, affordable materials to add interest. Ensuring product meets costing requirements. Working in close collaboration with a small team, I have successfully grown the brand over the last 4 years (typically +15% to previous year) creating a loyal customer base who love the innovative comfort features and style of the brand. The brand is expanding to be stocked at all Macy's stores and online. Successfully achieved repositioning of the brand, in-line with new Brand DNA, to attract customers wanting comfortable but feminine and on-trend product.
