Research scientist at Resolution Therapeutics (Edinburgh) delivering an autologous cell therapy for the resolution of cirrhosis.I am passionate about developing genetic and cellular technologies for the betterment of human health. My background is in genetics and molecular biology with a focus on mammalian cell culture, cell line generation, and cell characterisation.I completed my PhD at the University of Edinburgh investigating the role of DNA methylation in regulating gene expression during cellular differentiation using a mouse embryoid body model. With more than 7 years of experience in academia and industrial bioscience my proficiencies include iPSC and primary cell culture, 3D bioreactor culture, cloning, CRISPR genome editing, high-resolution microscopy, multi-colour flow cytometry, RT-qPCR, and cellular differentiation. I also have experience with clinical sample processing and management (including ICH-GCP certification), project management, and working to GMP and cGCP standards.
