I returned to work on the LIARI project in June, having competed for the position of Research Assistant. Duties include: office administration, identifying and preparing samples for scientific analysis; researching and entering data on the project database; coordination of the Irish Isotopes Research Group; managing social media based outreach for the Discovery Programme and for the project. I created my own sub-project in 2014 looking at the health of dated Iron Age people in Ireland. I am also heavily involved the planning and organization in outreach events such as Heritage Week, Culture Night and any book launches or conferences. I am also undertaking a personal research project on ethics and heritage law, on which I gave a paper as part of the Day of the Dead conference in October 2014.

Coordinating speakers for the K2U2 conference and general organisation over the two day event in May, 2013; organisation of Traces of the Past launch and publicity; public engagement; creation of the Traces of the Past blog. I also assisted in creating a schedule for the travelling exhibition in Ireland and participated in some the moves of the exhibition to various locations.

Identifying and preparing human and animal bone and teeth samples for scientific (isotope) analysis and C14 dating; researching and entering data on the project database; aiding the Research Assistant in artefact related studies; assisted in the organisation and running of the LIARI conference October 2012.

Site assistant on Carrickmines Pale ditch excavation. Mostly drawing and recording of site and site features.

Site assistant on a small urban excavation, a Metro North Stop box at the Mater Hospital in advance of development. Duties included manual excavation of a stone lined culvert covered by garden material and recording of same.

Started as site assistant (excavation and recording) on Newry Carnbane Industrial Estate. Duties were then divided between excavation and the on-site digitisation of the site records based on my previous TVAS experience. I also acted as Finds Officer for the first month until the records required all of my time and a second site assistant was drafted in to help. My work fed directly into the reports generated about the site and helped the Director to collate the vast amounts of data.

M11 Enniscorthy to Gorey Bypass.Started as site assistant in October, later became finds officer and managed on-site data entry - in particular the photograph registers for each site. Monitored the delivery of finds and samples from the sites to the site-office. I was later part of the post-ex team where I completed and backed up the registers and prepared the finds for removal to the company office. Was lucky to be part of the team excavating a very exciting Neolithic domestic structure amongst other prehistoric features.

I worked as teaching assistant to one of the directors, Nene Lozada, in a field school as part of the UCLA field schools programme. In the field, I drove part of the team to and from site and helped supervise student digging the mortuary context. Post-ex was done at night, where I managed data entry of photographs and inventory and packing of skeletons. Off-site I was a contact-point for students with any issues (homesickness, dietary, travel-related illness) and co-supervised weekend outings.

I started as a Seller Support associate in TAM (Technical Account Management) for Amazon. Here I helped small individual sellers and small to medium businesses sell their products on the Amazon Marketplace. This involved troubleshooting their uploads or account issues and helping them to deal with buyers in accordance with Amazon policy.Later I was promoted to assisting larger companies on the Seller Central platform. These were more technical queries, again troubleshooting of uploads including xml files, AMTU, SOAP, catalogue issues and helping sellers to use FBA. I was able to work part-time for a few months during this period to allow me to complete my HDip in Archaeology. I left in September 2009 to pursue my masters.

During my Erasmus year in Erlangen, I was offered work with the English for Economics online training project. I collected survey data, worked on training information and graphics for the course.
