Duties include: office administration, identifying and preparing samples for scientific analysis; researching and entering data on the project database; coordination of the Irish Isotopes Research Group; managing social media based outreach for the Discovery Programme and for the project. I created my own sub-project in 2014 looking at the health of dated Iron Age people in Ireland. I am also heavily involved the planning and organization in outreach events such as Heritage Week, Culture Night and any book launches or conferences. I am also undertaking a personal research project on ethics and heritage law, on which I gave a paper as part of the Day of the Dead conference in October 2014. -

Off-site I was a contact-point for students with any issues (homesickness, dietary, travel-related illness) and co-supervised weekend outings.

I was able to work part-time for a few months during this period to allow me to complete my HDip in Archaeology. I left in September 2009 to pursue my masters.
