People have always fascinated me. From my early days coaching debating through nearly a decade of executive recruitment, I’ve always been able to read between the lines. This ability, to listen to what people don’t say, to pull together disparate strands to form a meaningful narrative, is critical to my value as a personal branding specialist. I find it easy to identify value in people, drawing out the unique skills, achievements and personality traits that set them apart from others, and connect them with their career goals. With a wealth of experience partnering with senior business leaders, I understand the markers for success at executive and senior management level, allowing me to frame values, strengths and traits in a way that’s commercially desirable. I have a deep understanding both of the recruitment lifecycle and the pain points experienced when hiring great talent, so I know what it takes to get noticed by the right people. Communicating this value proposition comes down to a flair for language, an ability to understand complex business concepts, and a passion for the power of words and their ability to sell. Graduating with First Class Honours in English Literature and History, writing has always played a significant role in my career. Now, I leverage my ability as a writer, and my depth of experience in international recruitment, to create personal branding documents and content that live and breathe the people they represent, ensuring their distinct value statement packs a punch with peers and hiring professionals alike.
