As part of the planning, execution and monitoring steps of the M&A process, some of my typical duties involve:- Completing the due diligence process on target companies (for both private and public companies) by focusing on specific financial statement accounts that are considered highly variable or at risk of manipulation by the target companies.- Assessing the quality of earnings of target companies.- Analyzing the future performance of target companies (Capital structure analysis, Budget analysis, Cash flow and profitability analysis).- Assessing the fairness of the acquisition price and determine potential adjustments that could benefit to our clients (including adjustments to EBITDA, Working Capital, Net Debt, etc.).- Working on sell side mandates in order to find buyers for our clients interested in selling assets or an equity percentage of the business.- Working on buy side mandates to help private equities, specific companies or individual investors to find and complete strategic business acquisitions or divestitures. - Helping our clients find financing options in order to complete the M&A process.

Auditing both private equity and publicly listed companies from various industries in order to express an opinion about the fairness of their financial statements.Typical duties involve:- Inquiring of management and others to gain an understanding of the organization itself, its operations, financial reporting, and known fraud or error- Evaluating and understanding the internal control system- Performing analytical procedures on expected or unexpected variances in account balances or classes of transactions- Testing documentation supporting account balances or classes of transactions- Observing the physical inventory count- Confirming accounts receivable and other accounts with a third party- Gauging levels of financial risk within organisations- Preparing reports, commentaries and financial statements- Ensuring procedures, policies, legislation and regulations are correctly followed and complied with- Identifying if and where processes are not working as they should, and advising on changes to be made

As a campus recruitment ambassador, my role was primarily to: - Promote to HEC students career opportunities at Deloitte.- Assess potential candidates- Help Deloitte to shape on-campus marketing activities and recruitment strategies (and participate to those activities).- Act as an adviser to Deloitte's recruitment team.- Report and present feedback about various Deloitte's recruitment activities.

Monthly meetings in which we were responsible for various duties such as:Governing the organization by establishing broad policies and objectives,Selecting, appointing, supporting and reviewing the performance of the management team,Reviewing and approving important management decisions,Ensuring the availability of adequate financial resources,Assessing and approving annual budgets,Accounting to the stakeholders for the organization's performance;Setting the salaries and compensation of company management.
