I am a digital strategist and a frontend & backend developer with a passion for user-centered experiences and clean designs. Armed with over-sized whiteboards, diagrams, flowcharts, Gantt charts and data, I lead and collaborate with clients and team members to define and produce experiences that matter. I have a talent for simplifying and modeling complex systems and identifying the best course of action to overcome the challenges of our clients and provide value to theirs.I had the chance of working on dozens of projects over the years from ecommerce, to large real estate companies, to custom webapps for reservation systems or internal processes.Additionally, I've been in charge of the agency's management and day-to-day operations, leading a local and remote team of designers and developers over 6 time zones.

In 2012 I established a small creative agency in downtown Honolulu with a local and remote team of 10 professionals with extensive experience in branding, graphic design, front end development, backend development and digital marketing strategy. My responsibilities extended to two other departments besides the creative agency: Eclectik Sport (Sport marketing and wholesale) and Eclectik Retail.During my time at Eclectik, I've worked on small to medium size interactive projects, mobile app design and proof of concepts, and opened a retail store in Waikiki from the ground up (including accounting, operations, POS, inventory control, HR).

Managed the sale and development of interactive projects for small/medium businesses. Drafted personalized strategies and directed their implementations with close client interactions. Services: lead generation, social media marketing, PPC, email marketing, branding, website design, custom development, maintenance and hosting. Technologies/tools: LAMP stack, JS, Joomla CMS, E-commerce.

Managed the operations of a newly constructed vertical wind tunnel from pre-opening through the first year of business. Developed and implemented all phases of operations, including staffing, bookkeeping system, training, customer service, office management and sales to accommodate up to 250 clients a day resulting in $2.5M in revenue the first year.Hired and supervised 20+ instruction and administrative staff.

Successfully designed, laid out and tested highly integrated, low power RFIC tuners for broadband applications and Sirius satellite radio, resulting in revenues >$12M/y in 2006. Blocks include VCO, VGA, Mixer, LNA, PLL, filter in CMOS and SiGe BiCMOS as well as evaluation boards for testing.

Reported to the VP of Engineering as one of the initial RFIC Design Engineers. Researched and implemented the tools and processes for the company's IC design center to design and produce integrated circuits and modules for VOIP, Digital Cable and Radio Satellite applications. Designed, simulated and laid out an integrated out-of-band tuner with TSMC 0.35um, ATMEL BiCMOS AT46K and SiGe BiCMOS processes. ISB Broadband was acquired by Sirenza in 2004.
