Pricing Manager
Current• Analyse, formulate and submit RFPs based on clients requirements• Collaborate and partner with intermodel teams in moving/logistics industry worldwide; and remain updated about changes in the industry • Orient and train new staff about pricing team’s duties and responsibilities• Prepare reports and submit/receive recommendations to improve efficacy of the pricing department• Arrange meetings with team members to discuss about pricing strategies• Assign duties to team members; review and approve when it is completed• Supervise and advise team members when uncommon scenarios arise• Analyse and identify various suppliers rates suitable to win the RFPs and quote• Negotiate with vendors to provide best rates to customers• Identify best and cost effective service providers; and advise move managers based on the scenario to provide cost effective service to customers and increase the company’s profitability• Work with industry softwares like moveware and train new joinees on the use of softwares
