General Manager for the largest Asian language translation company in New York. Responsible for personnel management, budgeting, costing of jobs, editing of translations into English, ensuring the on-time delivery on film to clients, marketing, and sales.

I worked in a variety of positions with IBM, starting as a Systems Engineer in Chicago in 1979. In 1985, I got an assignment in China, with a home in Shanghai, but primarily working as IBM's only representative in Sichuan Province. For the following two years I was based in Tokyo as IBM's Manager of Chinese-Language PCs for mainland China. Back in the US I taught in Marketing Education for two years, then joined the Paramus, New Jersey branch as Systems Engineering Manager and Manager of Japanese Customer Support. My last two IBM years were spent in the Asia Pacific Division's headquarters in North Tarrytown, New York. I was a liaison between IBM in North America and IBM in Asia. I graduated from IBM in 1993 and began the next chapter of my life!
