Garden Rail is the UK's only newsstand magazine for those modelling in the larger gauges outdoors. Bringing news and features to the readership every month, it's my job to source the content by visiting shows, making use of social media and chasing trade for product information. From this, I pull together a balanced issue every month paying careful.

Features writer for British Railway Modelling magazine. If it comes in pieces, or needs taking apart, then it gets sent to me for making/modifying, photography and write up. Since its introduction, I've been a regular on the magazine's DVD demonstraiting practical craft-based model making covering a variety of subjects. I didn't expect to be a telly star.
