At Citi, I worked on a series of front office applications that supported the electronic trading for equities desk within Citi. This included;- Working primarily on server side Java based applications, with experience with SQL and Bash, - Working closely with our FIX engineering team and the business to support new clients- Actively participating in L3 support and working with our support team in resolving issuesI also played an active role as the DevOps champion of my team, where I helped our team migrate our source control to GIT and migrated our requirements onto JIRA. Along side this I build out our CI/CD environment, making use build pipelines that;- Compile and build the application on every commit via Team City- Run our integration test suite- Run a Static code analysis via Sonar to ensure no new technical debt was added- Push any successful builds to uDeploy for automatic deployment into DEV/QA

Assisted in running numerical simulations to model the magnetic field within the Suns Chromosphere, in order to better understand the link between the magnetic fields interaction with the plasma and solar events such as Coronal Mass Ejections.The results of this research were later published in the universities undergraduate research volume.
