This included script writing, briefing presenters and picture editing at short notice and under tight deadlines. I sourced appropriate contributors, such as eyewitnesses using social media, or expert analysts contacted through organisations such as universities, political parties or private companies.Filming, directing and editing "Meet the Author", a series of seven minute interviews with authors.Outside broadcast on planned and breaking news. This involved safely running a small team of reporters, camera crew and other technical staff. I frequently dealt with long hours and trying weather conditions.

Package production. This involved researching, scripting, filming, directing and editing pieces for Newsround and Sportsround. I shot on the Z1 Camera and edited on Avid. I carried out risk assessments for shoots in dangerous environments including swimming pools, car race tracks and zoos. I interviewed a wide range of contributors including children and adults, Olympians and astronauts.Bulletin output. I chose the news agenda for a series of short bulletins, organised the work flow of a small team, gave the final editorial sign off on scripts and finished pieces, and out put the bulletin in the gallery.
