Applied to a Call for Concepts to design additional evidence-based tools to promote positive behaviors for optimal infant and young child feeding. The focus was on developing nudge prototypes to support optimal complementary feeding (CF) to improve practices around minimum acceptable diet and meal frequency for children under two.• My concept was one of two finalists selected from over 30 concepts submitted I designed a visual aid tool aimed to remind parents/caregivers to feed their children complementary foods at least two times a day from 6 months old and to feed them a diverse diet with foods from at least four food groups each days e.g. tubers, vegetables, fruits, cereals, legumes, animal-sourced foods, etc.

I Participated in field outreach activities together with DUHAMIC-ADRI Staff incommunities; specifically focusing on Village Nutrition Schools (VNS).I trained a group of Community Health Workers and Parent Lumiere from different cellsof Gahanga sector on use of report books, growth charts and UNICEF scaleI worked together with Kabuga Health Center in implementing the Gikuriro program inKabuga Sector.
