I worked through a fairly typical IT career path, from computer programmer to system analyst to project leader to IT manager, with experience ranging from small, private companies to large, publicly listed corporations. Then I created my own small, private software company that developed and marketed applications in a number of vertical applications. When I discovered that retirement didn't suit me, I returned to the IT workforce as Knowledge Manager (contracted) for a large, publicly listed company. That was heaps of fun while it lasted. I now work exclusively online with website businesses in the areas of affiliate marketing and weight loss, health and fitness.
