Enterprise Capability's boutique advisory service supported the capacity of organisations assisting a broad spectrum of clients, from family owned businesses to ASX Top 200 companies, in developing and growing their operations. I assumed the role of Managing Director of the firm on the retirement of the previous MD in mid 2012 and led the business into a strong specialisation in workforce development and accredited learning frameworks. Projects during this period included operational reviews of multiple enterprise RTO operations, including restructuring and re-development of operating systems for a national retailer and a national member association.The business was merged into a complimentary IT outsourcing firm in early 2014.

RTO Management Services was a dedicated IT solutions and outsourcing provider for the vocational and enterprise learning sectors. The business develops innovative Learning Information Systems that streamline business processes, make it easier to manage an RTO and provide a seamless, integrated experience for your clients. After the business was founded in mid 2011 through the acquisition and integration of several small IT and consulting businesses, I assumed the Managing Director role on the transition of the previous CEO, driving market penetration for new service offerings, increasing its learning IT solutions base from 5 to 50 clients over a two year period, including the engagement of several ASX listed entities.The business was transitioned to a new General Manager in early 2014 and subsequently acquired by an investment group in early 2015.

As a leading national Registered Training Organisation, Esset Australia delivered productivity gains to corporate Australia through national integrated skills development services.A co-founder of the company in 2002, I assumed the role of Managing Director in late 2004 while the business was a state based, sub $1million SME, and over the course of five years grew the business into a national operation with personnel in all states.Innovative projects achieved during this period included multiple national training implementations in excess of $5 million - including leading projects with a national airline, 'big 4' bank, international retailer, international insurer and multiple professional associations. Before transitioning the business to an Executive team in late 2009, I had collected BRW Fast 100 recognition in the 2006, 2008 and 2009 calendar years. The business was acquired by a larger business group in mid 2011, having supporting 25,000+ students with vocational education studies.

During this period, SED advisory personnel tripled.Key project implementations included restructure of RTO operations of a national fast food chain, establishment of vocational education division of an Australian university, capability review of a national airline's engineering division, establishment of a group training organisation and authoring of several industry skills profiles for a state government department.SED's Tasmanian practice was acquired by a larger business group in mid 2011, and subsequently transitioned to the boutique firm Enterprise Capability in mid 2012.
