Chemical production operator in which a wide variety of chemical processes were experienced over a 17year period , and carried out under many different environments. Working as a solo operator or team operator maintaining set process parameters and SOP's carrying out various responsible duties bringing me to senior operator level. Within this period I was familiar with gas compressors and related turbines, medium pressure column absorption and atmospheric oxidation, platinum gauze nitrous gas converters, distillation columns, various reactors including those under vacuum and various heat exchange systems, most of which were experienced on a day to day basis.Duties included:Out of hours shift management and daily progress meetings re: Process and maintenance Safety auditing(solo/team) Risk assessments Permit to work issuing for both ongoing plant maintenance and out of hours critical maintenance Pay data entries and holding shift meetings re: Business and company requirements Problem solving and fault finding was a large part of role , whilst working within set process parameters and SOP's to reach required business needs
