• Working with customers to assist and advise to take designs to a stage that allows it to be manufactured in the most efficient method, using experience to amend designs so that they accommodate the best possible material utilisation, cutting down on raw material costs, and also advising on manufacturing methods cutting down on time, labour and movement costs. • Chief Engineer for Foxhound Force Protection Armoured Steel Pod redesigning key area's for a functional Armour plate design, and overseeing a successful Prototype Production.• Working on in house process improvements, responsible for Introducing a new nesting process for Thos. Storey on both the software and production methods in order to optimize both efficiency of material and reduce cutting time while also reducing non-standard size sheet steel saving the company an estimated £250000 per annum on material, and 44 hours per week on labor.

• Developed my 2D CAD skills drawing parts for JCB and Dennis Eagle.• Producing accurate and cost efficient nests and programs using Radan software, reducing scrap by over 50%, while increasing productivity using methods such as common cutting.• Quoted and processed orders to ensure deadlines are met with minimum cost and in line with company standards.• Maintaining and repairing Laser Machinery to reduce breakdown costs• Producing reports on team performance for senior managers, ensuring that staff are motivated, monitored and measured in line with company targets and performance standards.• Installed, repaired, maintained, and upgraded servers, desktop and notebook computers
