Work directly with energy traders to maintain and improve their workflow though the use of custom software solutions and infrastructure using the Java J2EE technology stack.Quickly respond to any circumstances to prevent interruption of trading. As an example, if one of the outside data feeds changed the format of its data, we have to very quickly modify our production systems to prevent loss of this data. This data affects the decisions the traders make.Performance is front and center with application change. The core application has to deliver critical information from millions of records in less than a second. Traders expect every interaction with their core application to respond immediately.

As a member of PNC Mobile Development team, I was responsible for several key deliverables such as Mobile Redirection of PNC customers using mobile devices to mobile friendly user interfaces. In addition to the initial redirection, I developed several screens of the mobile application, and was part of the team that delivered RDC (Remote Deposit and Capture). Development experience includes both the iOS and Android platforms.In addition to development lead on projects related to building the mobile html interface for PNC checking, lead efforts related to mobile detection and redirection for all PNC websites.As a member of the PNC.com team, I was responsible for working with various marketing groups internal and external to pnc.com to deliver content and applications for delivery to pnc.com customers. As a member of this team, I implemented solutions as varied as apache directives (mod_proxy and mod_rewrite), programming or coordination of offshore and onshore help with projects. In addition to being the “hands-on” expert, I was also called upon to manage several of the releases of pnc.com. This role was responsible for coordinating the overall migration of the change of pnc.com and deciding what/when/how to communicate success and/or issues to senior management.
