About Phillip Webster

Phillip Webster is a project manager with over 30 years industry experience in power generating plant operations, maintenance and performance. Mr. Webster is currently a senior consultant with IEM Energy Consultants. Prior to joining IEM he spent 20 years with Black & Veatch as Project Manager and consultant in Black & Veatch’s Energy Division, Power Generation Services group. Prior to his time at B&V he spent 13 years with Kansas City Power & Light (an investor owned utility now operating under the name Energy). His experience includes consulting on issues of outage managment, operations improvements, staffing, maintenance practices, reliability, project cost evaluation, and major project prioritization Additional operations consulting services include performance testing, operator training and development/improvement of operating procedures. In addition to his project experience Mr. Webster has authored and presented numerous papers at conferences and in industry publications. In this role I worked closely with the plant performance engineers, system dispatching and with the plant operations management. Our efforts also directly supported the plant maintenance staff to troubleshoot issues using the current state of the are PDM technologies.
