I am the managing director of an exciting innovative company of over 60 committed staff across Australia offering training and consultancy through our experienced health professionals. Our training staff are all nurses, paramedics and mental health practitioners. We are a non-franchised organisation offering quality training to those giving care.Our training experience of 30+ years has been in the first aid, health care and mental health training sector. As a Registered Training Organisation providing training in the first aid units of competence, we trained over 50,000 participants across Australia last year.We have over 60 extraordinary people around Australia and like any organisation our people are the key to our success.

13th year re-elected in the position. The Australian Resuscitation Council is a voluntary organisation that acts as the peak body to represent all major groups involved in the teaching and practice of resuscitation. The Victorian Branch of the ARC is a very active Branch of the Council.

I was elected to the position and represented Premium Health as a subject matter expert on the First Aid Industry Reference Committee (IRC). The First Aid IRC was responsible for national training package qualifications relevant to Cardiopulmonary resuscitation, Basic emergency life support, Provide first aid, Emergency first aid response, Advanced first aid, Advanced resuscitation, and First aid services and resources. These qualifications are included in the HLT Training Package.The IRC consulted widely during any future training package development process providing opportunity for any interested parties to make a contribution.The First Aid IRC was supported by the Skills Service Organisation, SkillsIQ.

A member of the steering committee overseeing the development of the "Course in First Aid Management of Anaphylaxis". The course was reviewed to ensure the contents and qualification structure met the needs of industry, enterprises and the community.

Review of all the current HLTCPR and HLTFA first aid units. These were CPR, Basic emergency life support, Provide first aid, Provide and emergency first aid response in an education and care setting, Provide first aid in remote situations, Provide advanced first aid and Provide advanced resuscitation.
