Avionics Technician: Maintenance of Avionics systems to include diagnosis, repair, and operational check of various discrepancies. Performance and documentation of preventative maintenance and periodic system updates. VLF, VHF, UHF, EHF, weather radar, flight management computers, "glass cockpit" instrument displays, various navigation systems, etc.Other titles and responsibilities:Communications Security Manager: Acquisition, inventory, control, and scheduled destruction of various classified materials.Plane Captain: Planning, supervision, and documentation of daily flight line operations including pre- and post-flight aircraft servicing and basic maintenance.Hazardous Materials Management: Obtained and tracked records of federally mandated safety training to workplace personnel. Responsible for maintaining up-to-date records for various workplace hazardous materials, including authorized user lists and material safety data sheets.Avionics Workcenter Supervisor: Scheduled and prioritized daily workload, ordered parts, coordinated the completion of scheduled preventative maintenance, supervised the diagnosis and repair of various system discrepancies. Ensured proper documentation of all workcenter activities. Coordinated regularly with superiors to ensure accurate and efficient completion of maintenance and proper documentation.Specialized Training: Leadership, Diversity, Industrial Workplace Safety, Hazardous Materials, Test & Calibration Equipment, Preventive Maintenance, Aviation Electronics, Wire Connector Repair, and Computer Applications.
