In 2013, Phil founded OsteoShape a global provider of orthopaedic sales, marketing and education materials. The company’s focus is to provide product launch materials for implantable surgical devices. The company manufacturers bone models and implant replicas for use by in sales kits and patient education by orthopaedic surgeons. Dental models are made for implant companies for use in training dentists and educating patients. Trade show exhibits are also a focus of OsteoShape. Phil has served in business leadership among the world’s leading orthopaedic companies. At Warsaw, Ind.-based Depuy Orthopaedics, Phil supported surgeons and other health care professionals with reconstructive implants for joint replacement, spine and fracture fixation. He was frequently promoted through the 1990s when DePuy was acquired by Johnson & Johnson. Since then, Phil worked with other biomedical leaders like GE’s OEC Surgical Imaging and London-based Smith & Nephew.Phil and his wife, Cheryl, live in Fort Wayne, IN and are the proud parents of two children. Michael earned his MBA at IU’s Kelly School of Business and is a CPA with a focus on financial reporting. Renee earned her MSW at IUPUI in Indianapolis and is a therapist in private practice. She and her husband Nathan Day, have a six-year old son Henry and 2-year old daughter Lyla who keeps us all on our toes. Michael and his fiancé, Leah Hahn, are to be married on August 24.
