Reporting to the Research Director the role requires leading five research teams covering broadband access, digital media, TV, smart home and digital communications. I am accountable for the overall research strategy, research production and group consulting targets. As a principal analyst I provide thought leadership analysis around go to market.

My clients included large incumbent and competitive telecommunication operators, media companies, telecommunication equipment vendors, consumer electronics manufacturers and national government organisations. As well as leading the research team, I produced in-depth research reports, market forecasts, consumer insights data analysis, and worked with.

Promoted to Principal Analyst and was tasked with looking for new service and revenue opportunities in the consumer research area. During this time I also established three new Ovum research services, two of which are still running today and another that was expanded through the acquisition of another company.

Promoted to Senior Analyst and Manager of Ovum's Access research team, I re-focused and re-branded the service to 'Broadband@Ovum' and increased revenues from £250k per year to over £850k by April 2005.

I joined Ovum as a consultant within the Networks and Infrastructure team, where I carried out a number of bespoke consulting jobs for a variety of clients, mainly focusing on next generation network strategies.

Before joining Ovum, I spent four years with BT Laboratories designing next-generation access networks. During this time I was involved with the design of BT’s initial DSL deployment, next-generation optical fibre access for business, and early NGN voice initiatives.
