End of Line test is a key process to maintain very high levels of quality performance and reliability for complex engine components. End of Line improves customer satisfaction by providing not only pass fail criteria for each product, but key metrics on performance that can be used to improve upstream processes.The role is a lead engineering authority on EOL testing across all PPT products. Providing a common approach while implementing best practices to improve product performance and yield.- Oversees all EOL test activities, defining and maintaining the quality ethos of PurePOWER and ensuring consistency across injector, turbo and valve products.- Develop testing procedures for new products working within the robust APQP process. Working either directly or mentoring others, deliver capital equipment and functional test specifications for each product.- Develop metrics to monitor performance of each product under test. Identify areas of concern in the manufacturing process to be addressed. Seek continuous improvement opportunities to reduce costs. - Maintain a high level technical resource of the function of each PurePOWER product. Utilizing input from design, manufacturing, and customer feedback; characterize traits seen on EOL and their effect on product performance, manufacturing and customer satisfaction.-Mentor other technical and non-technical employees in the inputs and outputs to EOL test. Provide training to ensure that PPT's standards are maintained. Communicate to senior management status on projects and issues. Work with sales teams to make sure the customer understands the benefits of the PurePOWER brand and its superior products.

The company continues to provide OEM level fuel injectors, valves and turbos to the aftermarket and niche market diesel engine manufacture. The role requires me to manage multiple projects and programs. Both product and capital. Identify business needs and secure funding. Organize resources and prioritize projects. Deliver tasks to time and to cost. Mentor junior engineers and show them best practices in project management.In addition to these roles, I'm also supporting the leadership team in developing customer relationships leading to new opportunities. By providing an in depth understanding of the organizations capabilities and knowledge of the markets we work in, I'm leading Pure Power to fulfill the growth its capable of.

As the lead engineer in the Assembly and Test group on several programs, my responsibilities extend beyond the process and equipment realms to include product development and launches. This role calls on me to use all my previous knowledge, with some latitude to make changes which have major positive impacts to the EBIT of the company. The role still includes daily line supervision but incorporates management of many different projects including. Leading a cost reduction project for a remanufactured injector. It required validating new processes and part content changes. This has lead to a realized cost saving measured in Millions $ per year.Completing a competitive analysis on rival product offering of our injectors. Determined the key areas that makes our product best in class Rolled up data into a report that was used as the cornerstone of marketing in the aftermarket. Leading to a double digit increase in sales. Representing the company at distributors meetings and trade shows. Interacting with customers and educating them on the premier nature of our products whilst listening to their concerns and taking that feedback to incorporate into future development products. Delivering multiple PPAP's on a low volume turbo program to continue supply a niche genset application. Additionally, working with senior management, provide reliable business case information to determine the future of this business unit.

Continental Diesel Systems was aquired by Navistar and a new company, 'Pure Power Technologies' , was formed. - Develop processes and procedures for the automated assembly and test of fuel injectors.- Designed an innovative new approach to end of line Turbocharger testing. Including leak, flow, thermodynamic and NVH performance.- Use Six Sigma techniques to identify and address the root causes of yield and scrap issues.- Actively control and reduce costs associated with production.- Working with the customer to reduce warranty costs.- Provide high level troubleshooting support and training to technicians and operators
