My task during the DSNA and Conti was to work with a new Injector for Cummins and My portion of the project was to work in Germany and with my German colleagues on the manufacturing of the Nozzle assembly including the process flow and procurement of this need equipment. Control Valve Body Engineer - Start up Companylayout of processes and procured all equipment for the CVB and Spool. Purchased over 30 machines from Studer, Kummer Hard turning including Seckler and Felsomat Handling systems. 4 manufacturing lines for a volume of 12K per day. Improved yield from start of 72% to 98% in less that two yesrs - All processes.

Statred out as the Manufacturing Engineer for the grinding cell and moved out to the Assembly area as well. In June I was also doing the supervisory taks for the Grinding cell for all 3 shifts.

I started with Bosch in June of 1978 as a machine operator - Advanced from Labor grade 5 to a 7. May of 1985 I was selected to participate in a 32 week set up technician traing, after graduation I was placed in the Valve Needle department. In August 1985 I was chosen to go to Switzerland for machine accepatance and then return to set up the line of 8.
