I enjoyed my tenure with Wynkoop dentistry and am very comfortable verifying insurance benefits, appealing denied claims, scheduling appointments, answering phones, monitoring emails, communicating patient cost estimates, billing/collecting large sums of money, and other office admin duties. It was a privilege to work with a group of amazing female dentists, as well as interact with downtown business professionals and be a part of their care.

During my time working for at the beach, I refined my hospitality and sales skills and was a top commission earner and trainer for new employees. I enjoyed getting to know our regular clients, selling membership packages, and getting new customers acquainted with the technology and products. My main duties were opening/closing the store, recruiting/interviewing new team members, detailing and cleaning, ordering supplies, and other essential salon tasks.

I worked at the Lightshade dispensary 6th Ave location as the first key holder/assistant manager. This was my second job in the cannabis industry and I gained a profound amount of product knowledge and compliance awareness while working there. My duties included securing the store before/after hours, applying discounts, scheduling and interviewing employees, METRC uploading and auditing, large sum cash deposits, social media promotion, and assisting the team in all facets. I was comfortable in all other positions, including the front desk, budtending, and inventory control.

I was employed as a patient coordinator at Icon for about 6 months before deciding to venture into the cannabis industry. At Icon, I was mainly responsible for receptionist tasks such as keeping our waiting room tidy and welcoming, answering phones, marketing our practice at events, and ordering supplies. As the patient coordinator I scheduled appointments and took a lot of pride in my ability to multitask, handle large transactions, keep records organized, and make patients feel at ease. I also felt confident communicating treatment plans and insurance estimates, and using dental software and online marketing platforms.
