I'm excited to begin my fourth and final year at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire pursuing a degree in Human Resource Management with a minor in music and a leadership certificate.This summer, I had the pleasure of working with the Human Resources team at Kapco Metal Stamping, Inc in Grafton, WI as an HRIS intern. With guidance and mentorship from teammates, I experienced the excitement of working in a proactive HR environment that always seeks improvement. I'm grateful to have had my offer extended and to be working remotely throughout the year!This semester is my fifth in the UWEC chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and my first as the Chippewa Valley SHRM Student Liaison; guest speakers, student-led workshops, and faculty guidance have expanded my interest in & knowledge of human resources. As a co-student mentorship liaison, I'll be connecting students with valuable mentor relationships and assisting in the coordination of guest speakers with relevant topics.Aside from my collegiate choral pursuits, I also act as a student choral intern at First Congregational Church of Christ, with the role's purpose being to enrich the choir's overall sound. It's been a pleasure not only to put my choir and sight-singing skills to use in this paid role, but also to meet members of the Eau Claire community beyond the typical barriers of campus and make intergenerational connections.
