Promote the Centre through the design, development and implementation of all aspects of communication and engagement. Key responsibilities include management of the annual communication and engagement strategy, website, social media, brand, and media relations.

Develop and manage brand engagement, events, media strategies, social media accounts, and press releases for The Burnett Mary Regional Group (BMRG) - the peak body for natural resource management within the Burnett Mary region.

Responsible for event planning, communications and marketing for the Faculty of Science and its 6 Schools. Duties include promotional video production, creation of EDM's, creation of print and digital marketing materials including advertisements and flyers, monitoring budgets, event organisation and management, and website management.

Working for the Faculty of Science Research Facilities and Infrastructure Management unit including Moreton Bay Research Station, Heron Island Research Station, Central Glasshouses Unit, Science Workshops, and Boating and Diving. Duties include management of multiple concurrent projects, handling marketing and communications, website management, budget management, report writing, quality control reporting, staff recruitment, research, GBRMPA permitting, data analysis, liaising with stakeholders, senior level administrative support, and writing and reviewing grant applications.Key project: Overseeing the design and implementation of an open access database (live-learning-library.science.uq.edu.au/) and citizen science style education project for Heron Island Research Station in conjunction with the Great Barrier Reef Foundation, including providing marketing & communications materials.

Tutor for the practical or tutorial classes of biology courses, BIOL2201 'Evolution', BIOL1020 'Genes, Cells & Evolution' and BIOL1030 'Global Challenges in Biology'. My role included sourcing and creating engaging and enriching educational content for students, efficiently conveying key learning objectives, and communicating effectively with students, peers and course co-ordinators.In 2015 I was the coordinator of the School of Biological Science's course BIOL1030 'Global Challenges in Biology'. The role included regular meetings with lecturers and tutors in order to organise the resources to be taught to students.

Liaise with students as they begin their first year of University to assist with any issues they may be having and check up with any students throughout their first year to ensure they are settling into the UQ community.
