About Phoebe Chapman

I am a Manager in Customer Insights as part of our Brand, Communications and Reputatipm team, supporting the central marketing team at Coles. I have been in various roles within Coles for over 7 years now.In my current role I deliver customer centric insights to drive the strategy of our Brand and Communications. I support across the tactical as well as strategic marketing initiatives at Coles, handling research requests and unpacking relevant market and consumer trends to inform key decisions. Some of my core responsibilities include stakeholder management, project management, briefing and delivering qual and quant research, creative testing and marketing effectiveness measurement.Previously I worked as a Senior Location Planning Analyst within the Property and Export function at Coles. I completed the Coles SSC Graduate Program in 2018 before joining the Small Formats project team as a Location Planner where I focused on new brands, innovation and format strategy. As a Senior Location Planner from 2019 my key responsibilities included identifying gaps in the market for new space, forecasting sales for new proposals, managing workload and stakeholder relationships and analysing data to drive insight led business strategies and investments. Prior to beginning my career at Coles I completed a double degree in Business (Marketing) and Arts at Monash University in 2015. At university I majored in Marketing and Spanish and minored in Psychology, with sequences in communications and media. My core areas of interest have included Consumer Behaviour, Sports Marketing & Sponsorship, Strategic Marketing, Digital Marketing and Brand Management.
