I’m a podcast creator and producer who loves writing, community organizing, and being on mic. I started NYT Opinion's audio department as its first employee, and have proudly launched several shows, collaborating with over a dozen hosts and booking many high profile guests. At present I am a senior producer guiding editorial, workflow, and show vision for the Times' tentpole weekly chat show. In addition to piloting creative ways of integrating audio into the broader New York Times, I carved out a regular podcast recommendation column, reported audio industry coverage and larger features, and manage the New York Times Podcast Club Facebook group, which I co-created in 2017. I am trained in journalistic, opinionated and oral history styles of interviewing, and work as a researcher and fact-checker to boot. Recently I began voicing narration for NYT Opinion videos and audio, and have trained in on-mic performance, public storytelling, improvisation and acting.After 10 years with the New York Times, I am open to finding my next adventure, looking to create cool things with people who similarly bring humor and hard work to every creative pursuit.
