Hello, this is Phoenix! I’m a third-year studying Media, Culture and Communications at NYU!I believe that the media kids consume matters. Through my studies in communications and Child and Adolescent Mental Health Studies, I have learned how the media children consume can change their aspirations and their future. I have also witnessed how 'brainrot' content and social media can take away that creativity. So whether it's educational programming in TV, live theater, or interactive media like toys and video-games, I am passionate about bringing children more opportunities to get more interactive, more creative, and more engaged in their community and away from the screen (unless it's PBS Kids, which has my golden stamp of approval). I'm still exploring the media landscape, hence why I am open to all new experiences. I love picking up new skills and I thrive in a social environment. Through my administrative and social media experience, I have invaluable experience in building interpersonal connections, Microsoft Excel, and Adobe Suite. I look forward to gaining experience from you!
