I'm a McCombs alum who loves hiking, running, and cycling, with experience in investment banking, tech startups, and robotics engineering.In 2017, I interned at the National Institute of Standards and Technology with their Robotics lab, engineering less expensive ways of measuring rheometry (essentially viscosity) using off-the-shelf hardware. NIST opened my eye to the importance of access to capital, so I decided to major in business.In 2018, I interned at the Austin Mayor’s Office, where I worked on land development policy. I built economic reports using interviews, government datasets, Tableau, and Excel. The Mayor's Office grew my a heart for local development and compassion for the individual constituent.In 2019, I interned at the a16z-funded unicorn RigUp, where I worked on energy contractor onboarding, building reports using interviews, datasets, Tableau, and Excel. At RigUp I fell in love with working in a fast-paced environment and mentoring others. Spring and summer 2020, I interned at Amherst Capital in NYC, where I worked on the asset management buy-side, pulling data from Bloomberg and using SQL and Excel to synthesize daily trades into reports for the CFO. I learned to take responsibility amidst operational changes, standardizing daily reporting tasks and training others.In 2021, I helped organize, plan, and fund an Indigitous Hackathon at UT Austin, where I built partnerships with professionals, corporations, and non-profits. Through Indigitous, I learned to think bigger than myself and embrace market opportunities, as the transition to online allowed us to reach an international audience.In summer 2022, I was a summer analyst for TD Securities for their public finance investment banking division. Through preparing slide decks, issuer comps, and market reports for senior investment bankers, I learned the value of details, diligence, and authenticity.I am grateful for all opportunities and I look forward to continue learning, growing, and serving.
