I have worked with ZoRoCo Packaging, Inc since its inception in 2007. I have been a part of the IT team for almost 13 years, providing support when needed. Throughout this time, I have worked at other jobs and provided support for other companies. I have even maintained separate careers, but all the while making myself available to the ZoRoCo Packaging team. My most proud professional accomplishment is directly tied to ZoRoCo and the Rost/Ikabasu families that have made all of this possible. I also develop and maintain all of the tools used to communicate with vendors & customers. I work with the leadership team to develop analytical tools that give deep insight into operations. I was part of the executive management team at Malheur Federal Credit Union. My mission was to implement IT/IS solutions that better served our community and ultimately our members. I answered to nearly 14,000 members in both Payette & Malheur county. Over a two-year period, we built a team ready to face new IT/IS challenges and I am honored to have led the first phase of its development. The IT/IS department has more depth and is better staffed now than it has ever been. Now, the team consists of amazing engineers that will keep your information safe and money even safer. I am still a proud member today and look forward to maintaining a great relationship moving forward.

I worked with the United Rentals development team providing its customers real-time access to the information they needed to manage their projects efficiently. Our focus was to create tools that streamlined equipment management for both small and large customers. Some of the technologies we used were PHP, OOP, DB2, SQL, Ajax, Kendo, jQuery, ZF1, ZF2, CSS, JSON, API, C#, .NET, RPG, Bootstrap, Linux, GIT, SVN, Apache, Zend Studio, Zend Server.

PHP, C#, Java, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, MySQL and the Zend Framework. I was on the team that implemented the Video Portal. I also worked with the eCommerce code and did quite a bit of the work developing the order history section. The last 6 months I was there, I worked on the .NET team working with an internal application.

Mainly, I developed web applications used by the business to manage the business. I also ran the IT department. My time was split between creating software solutions and managing the network infrastructure. Over my five years, I created about two dozen applications that became a full-blown ERP for the company.

At FMTC, my responsibilities were split between networking and software development. During my employment, we installed a complete DSL solution for the community. Prior to this, only dial-up Internet was available. We also installed our own wireless phone company in Eastern Oregon and Western Idaho. I was lucky to be part of these big projects and they both helped me hone my skill set. I also managed the 911 database for Payette County.

The purpose of this section is to fill the time gap between high school and my professional experience. The skills I learned during these years didn't directly contribute my professional skill-set, but they did play a big part in developing my character while strengthening my work ethic.► I served as an infantryman in the US Army and fought with some true heroes during the liberation of Kuwait in 1991.► I served in Europe during my time in the service and was lucky enough to visit 4 continents and a dozen countries around the world.► I attended college and loved all of the science courses, especially math and physics.► I studied Spanish for 3 years in high school and 2 years in college, and enjoy speaking it today.► I worked my way up at Wendy's to Co-Manager and developed my ability to lead a team of workers.► I worked my way up to Store Manager at Domino's and learned the fundamentals of business management.► I worked a couple graveyard shifts per week as a side job at 7-11 to help pay the bills, never thinking any type of work was beneath me. ► I spent a couple years as a long-haul truck driver and visited all 48 continental states and 6 Canadian provinces, all the while learning how to communicate with a diverse group of personalities.► I worked with developmentally disabled adults for a couple years, coaching at the Special Olympics several times.► I bought my first "modern" computer (Windows 3.1) in the mid-nineties, which sparked my interest in pursuing a career in information technology.

I served as an infantryman in the United States Army. I am very proud of my time in the service and have spent many years actively supporting multiple veteran's groups since my active duty time.
