• Third Places Fund grant program, under contract with DAHP & provided by NPS’s Paul Bruhn Historic Revitalization Grant Program (2021), to support the preservation of community gathering spaces.
• Valerie Sivinski Fund grant program, providing funds to grassroots organizations & community groups engaged in preservation projects or campaigns around the state.
• Most Endangered Places program, bringing attention to threatened buildings, sites, & historic places in Washington by providing technical or strategic support in effective & innovative ways.
• Youth Heritage Project, an overnight summer program for high-school students, focused on the history, culture, & nature of Washington’s special places.

• Assist applicants through the design review process in accordance with the Unified Development Code
• Produce recommendation reports for historic resources based on Historic Design Guidelines to the Historic and Design Review Commission
• Prepare and conduct in-person and virtual public commission hearings, subcommittee meetings, and site visits in accordance with Texas Open Meetings Act
• Respond to citizen reports, conduct investigations, and develop proactive programs regarding violations of the Historic Preservation Code, Certificates of Appropriateness, and other related regulations
