Serve as a manager and advisor for the Command's Diversity Program for the Command EEO Officer. I direct the minority and female recruitment program. I provide leadership to the agency's top management to carry out its continuing policy and program of non-discrimination and affirmative action. As Diversity Manager, I analyze professional and administrative hiring practices of the command, Navy, DOD, private industry, etc. and compare staffing and recruitment practices, demographics, current and future labor pools, current and future organizational goals, etc., and provide detailed reports and models for the Commanding Officer and all levels of management in order to assist them in recruitment and outreach efforts associated with command hiring practices. Instrumental in developing and managing the mentoring program as the Mentoring Program Coordinator at the command as well as the commands Diversity/EEO Task Force. I also serve as the Commands Special Emphasis Programs Manager. Possess certification as an EEO Counselor. Serve as the Commands Wounded Warrior Program Manager.

Managed the Earned Value Management System (EVMS) for aircraft carrier RCOH projects for identification, investigation, analysis and customer notification regarding cost and schedule performance issues on assigned contracts. Analyzed cost performance reports and interview the contractors financial and production managers as necessary to establish the cause and effect of significant variances. Used these findings to ascertain EVMS compliance. DAWIA Level 1 certified in Business - Financial Management.

Performed contract review and execution, work specification review, and shipchecks as well as developing work packages for major ship work categories which included auxiliaries, structural, electrical, mechanical, nuclear, etc. Worked the USS ENTERPRISE (CVN 65) Extended Dry Docking Selected Restricted Availability as part of a work integration team at Norfolk Naval Shipyard under the direction of Comander, Naval Air Force, Atlantic (COMNAVAIRLANT). I was tasked with executing the removal and replacement of all service steam piping on the CVN 65. DAWIA Level 2 certified in Manufacturing, Production and Quality Assurance.
