Performed business systems analysis, defining order taking, production, and delivery and other processes. Managed the implementation of a client-server order entry application that operated on an Oracle database and integrated with the company’s legacy JD Edwards distribution modules. Reported directly to the VP of Development.

Directed the Oracle Assets for Utilities product development, a GUI, client-server product, developed using Developer2000, an Oracle tool. The application allowed utility managers to unitize bulk asset purchases. Implemented Oracle General Ledger, Oracle Projects, and Oracle Assets; Oracle Assets for Utilities is a modification of Oracle Assets and Oracle Projects.

Responsible for meeting with utility clients. Developed software specifications and provided product direction to program developers. Modules included Service Order Management, Billing, Customer Information and Maintenance systems. Formulated with JDE Marketing best business practices for Utility modules.

Managed a team of fifteen consultants who provided on-site consulting and telephone support to the Architecture, Engineering, Construction, and Utility client base. Published vertical industry brochures of software features, releases, and consulting tips for field consultants nationwide. The department taught application classes, organized the annual user group meeting, supervised beta client testing, managed quality assurance testing prior to product release, and participated in the cross-functional group of development, sales, and consulting.
