As a Geography and Environmental Management graduate from the University of Waterloo, I am passionate about applying my knowledge and skills to address environmental and social challenges. I have completed multiple co-op work terms in different sectors, gaining valuable experience in sustainability, data analytics, and geographic information systems (GIS).Most recently, I worked as an Assistant Project Officer at the Ministry of Environment, Conservation and Parks (MECP), where I supported the development and implementation of various environmental policies and programs. I conducted research, analysis, and reporting on ecological indicators, trends, and best practices, using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. I also collaborated with internal and external stakeholders, such as other ministries, municipalities, and conservation authorities, to facilitate information sharing and communication. Through this work, I contributed to the ministry's goals of protecting the environment, enhancing public health, and promoting a green economy.I am eager to learn new skills and explore new opportunities in the environmental field, especially in areas that involve data-driven decision-making, spatial analysis, and stakeholder engagement. I am a reliable, adaptable, and enthusiastic team player, who values innovation, collaboration, and impact. I look forward to applying my skills and knowledge in a position that will expand my career opportunities and allow me to make a positive difference in the world.
