After my engineering studies in electro mechanics, I started my career at the department of Design & Engineering of the multinational GTE-Sylvania in Tienen.Further along, I gained experience in several industrial positions, three years as an overseer in a production environment, then as a maintenance engineer. I worked at VCSTIP, a multinational corporation that supplies automotive parts, where I ended up as head of the maintenance engineering department.I have more than 10 years of experience in the maintenance department of VCSTIP and have seen all the facets of a modern maintenance department, based on the Maynard-philosophy. As head of the maintenance engineering department I was responsible for setting up a maintenance management system, preventive maintenance, ELOH and spare part management. One of the main tasks was establishing a technical standard related to the purchase of new machines. .Today this experience comes in handy for my at Stork TS projects. My main occupations are on the one hand reorganization projects, where the processes and the organization structure in companies are adapted to the needs of modern asset and maintenance management, and on the other hand the set up of maintenance systems (Availability concepts, RCM).
