Carryout maintenance5. Improve the design of PedalTaps( build PedalTap for drums and for high-end customers)6. Building manufacturing space(Machinery needed and capacity)7. Provide Technical advice (Engineering)8. Lead the prototyping of ideas.9. Make sure the manufacturing process is clear and with minimum risk of achieving orders.10. Make sure the installation process is clear and develop installation guidelines

The 'RISE-UP' project is a social enterprise that uses sustainable and innovative business models to create economic opportunities for urban refugees. Urban refugees and slum dwellers will be empowered with relevant professional skills in various technical disciplines, supported to nurture their innovation and know-how in the production of quality products and they will be connected to a high-value market. RISE-UP aims to provide a collaborative ecosystem that enables urban refugees to be creative, innovative, enterprising and successful while integrating them as productive actors in Uganda's formal economy. The proposed project will be a kind of 'pilot project' to test the viability and performance of a model that can be replicated and expected to be replicated to other urban refugee populations. The RISE-UP model proposes the establishment of an apprenticeship program and a vocational training program; setting up an innovation production center (workshop) and launching refugee-produced products on the market using online and offline channels.

• Come up with machine designs according to customer needs identified in the need finding process. • Plan and coordinate the activities of the machine design process.• Give updates and reports on the project progress• Supervise the production of proto types for the machines designs.• Continuously improve on the machine.• Procure materials to be used in proto typing and production.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE;• Implement ISO HSE &Q Management System Standards i.e. 9001, 14001 & 18001.• Facilitate the development of risk assessments and environment impact assessments.• Initiate and participate in safety initiatives for the OpCo inorder to develop a positive safety culture• Investigate, analyse and report on accidents, incidents and near misses within the operation.• Provide training for staff, visitors, suppliers and contractors in relation to HSSE & Q policies, practices and procedures- this applies to both depot and retail stations• Develop and implement HSSE &Q policies, procedures and best practices.• Ensure documentation and procedures are up to date, controlled, approved and accessible to users.• Conduct Management Review Meetings and Joint Health and Safety Committee Meetings.• Identify HSSE&Q training needs and follow up on their execution.• Develop & implement emergency preparedness procedures.• Draw up an internal audit schedule and ensure that audits are conducted.• Follow up on all non-conformances raised in the system and ensure that they are closed timely.• Ensure compliance with relevant HSE local regulations and corporate codes of practice e.g Ministry of Labour, Police, NEMA etc• Implement community right to know programs relative to environment and safety regulations and standards.• Tracking and reporting of HSSE&Q KPIs.• Ensure audits and inspections are done for retail and depot operations.• Implement and actively support Business Process Improvements and Initiatives for the OpCo
