Shaun Pierce is president of Pierce Events - National Event Planning, Production & Management Company. He has worked in media, marketing and events for over 30 years. He attended the Center for Creative Studies in Detroit, MI and began his career with Walt Disney Studios doing field marketing & promotional events for Touchstone, Hollywood and Walt Disney Pictures. Throughout his career, Shaun has produced some of the largest and most successful events in and around Pittsburgh, PA and across the country.He was chosen by Pennsylvania Governor and former Homeland Security Director Tom Ridge to produce his inaugural festivities. He hosted the grand opening of the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in Sharon, PA, co-produced some of the most successful fundraising concert events in the history of PBS, and produced a Sept. 11th tribute live broadcast from the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. He served on the formation committee and helped launch the Pittsburgh chapter of the International Live Events Association. He served on the board of the National Networking Day committee, as Vice President of Communications for the ILEA Greater Pittsburgh Chapter and on the board of directors of the Pittsburgh Chapter of ILEA as Vice President of Communications, Shaun has produced concert events, weddings, reunions, grand openings, private parties and corporate events throughout the country and is highly experienced in marketing, design, development and production. He has worked with music artists ranging from Chuck Berry to Katy Perry and was part of Live Nation Entertainment for 5 years.
