About Pierre Becker

I am the manager of the BCCM/IHEM collection, a microbial resource center preserving and distributing fungal diversity linked to human and animal health. The collection is ISO 9001 certified and has ISO 17025 accreditations.My work consists in a combination of management, customer-oriented services and scientific research activities.I have expertise in medical mycology, biobanks and identification of microorganisms by MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry. My research interests also include antifungal resistance and genomics.I am a native French speaker, fluent in English and with good skills in Dutch.Varia: LIMS, external communication, work in biosafety level 3 facilities.
