The job consisted of keeping an eye on camera crews and journalists who are being deployed out in the field, monitoring emails into the newsroom inbox, answering calls into the newsroom and staying across breaking news and news platforms. It is a busy role which requires great organisation skills and time management. It is a really good starting point to up-skill and learn how the organisation and more importantly news works.
