ARCHITECTURE IS A CONTINUOUS SEARCH FOR AN IDEAL AND AT THE SAME TIME A TRAIL, A MARK, AN INVENTORY OF REALITY. OUR AMBITION HAS ALWAYS BEEN TO SEARCH FOR A FORM WHICH COMBINES REALITY WITH THE IDEAL SO THAT LATENT CONTRADICTIONS OF AMBITION, PROGRAMS AND LOCATION CAN ALSO BE UNITED. THIS CONTRADICTION DRIVES US TO ACHIEVE THIS. THE FORMATION OF DESIRE AND REALITY; THE INCREASING CONNECTION CAN BE REFERRED TO AS A SYSTEMATIC INCOHERENCE OF OUR WORLD. THEREFORE, WE ARE NOT LOOKING FOR A SYSTEM WHICH IS BOUND BY COHESIVENESS BUT ATTEMPTING TO INTEGRATE INCONSISTENT AND EXTREME CONDITIONS WITH ORGANIZATIONAL LOGIC.­In 2001 E2A was founded by Piet Eckert and Wim Eckert. The idea was to develop an agency where architecture, urban design, research and innovation are combined, processed and implemented. E2A, with its team of close to 40 architects, designers, engineers, planners, draughtsmen and support staff is currently in the process of developing interdisciplinary solutions for architectural and urban themes. Our work interprets conceptual and contemporary conditions with a particular focus upon the concept of authorship. E2A is engaged in research and development and through generating a working platform within our projects, we aim to shape a better and more competent future in the face of an exceedingly more complex environment.E2A's depth of experience in urban and architectural planning processes creates sustainable added values and continuously works toward the development of spaces that use the most efficient techniques. In doing so, we take responsibility for the essential planning processes and solutions and for their successful implementation, thereby insisting on the urgency to develop requirements of the present and not to leave this task to future generations.
