E2A was founded 2001 by Piet Eckert and Wim Eckert to develop an agency that combines, mediates, and implements architecture, urban planning, research, and innovation. Today, with a team of around 50 employees, the practice develops interdisciplinary solutions for architectural and urban topics. E2A's projects that respond strategically to a continuously complex environment.
E2A has designed and completed many private, public, cultural, educational, and research buildings. E2A also conducts developments for institutional clients focusing on housing, the hotel industry, corporate offices, and commercial and industrial uses. In addition, urban development concepts, strategic planning, and master plans extend our scope of architectural activities to urban design.
