Data extraction is essential for hospitals, to participate in national registries, to benchmark with other hospitals (improving quality and reducing costs) and connect to external parties and services. At MRDM, we help hospitals shift their data extraction from manual to automated processes. MRDM provides tooling and services in connecting to hospital systems such as EMR, laboratory, pharmacy, financial systems and datawarehouses.In my role as (sr) Product Owner, I am responsible for driving design, development & delivery for our Automated Data Extraction products. Automated EMR extraction, secure and privacy-proof data transfer, FAIR data availability and FHIR data exchange. As team-lead also responsible for HR and coaching our Data Extraction team, with 5 analysts and specialists.MRDM is Trusted Partner in Medical Data and part of the LOGEX Group: an international group of companies that helps create a sustainable balance between high quality of care against containable costs. Data is used in relevant, reliable and objective dashboards and benchmark products for healthcare providers. MRDM wants to improve the quality, effectiveness and efficiency of healthcare.At this intersection of healthcare and IT, I was responsible for various major projects. Including the national Transparency Portal. This facilitates all Dutch hospitals in a careful and objective calculation, validation and benchmark of quality indicators. The output is linked to external parties such as payers (insurance), regulators (government) and patient associations.
