• Developed Organizational Health and Safety standards to reduce risk by 10% during the construction and operation of facilities using a Risk Matrix based on Mexican, Jamaican, and selected international standards (NFPA, GHS, ABTA, ADA). -Facilities included 12 Resorts (+4000 rooms), a food processing plant, a distribution center, industrial laundry, a shopping mall, corporate offices, a convention center, and vehicles such as trucks and boats. -Main categories: fire systems, chemical handling, electric hazard, emergency response, LPG, and signage.• Conducted both internal and external inspections for insurance firms, insurance brokerages, government, and travel agencies to ensure zero penalties.• Conducted safety inspections during the remodel of two resorts (+600 rooms), the construction of a shopping center, and minor projects within operating resorts.• Trained and advised general management and +5,000 operations personnel on all related OH&S standards.• Investigated accidents and implemented preventive measures with ISO 31000 Risk Assessment Methodologies such as Failure Mode and Effect Analysis, The 5 Why’s, and Root Cause. • Coordinated the development of a mobile inspection app's user interface and experience to audit and generate reports 50% faster than existing models.• Inspected and tested fire systems such as sprinklers, deluge systems for LPG tanks, kitchen wet chemical suppression systems, fire alarms, smoke detectors, fire extinguishers, fire brigade equipment, and SCBA. • Evaluate exposure to various hazards such as noise, temperature, light, hot spots, cable integrity, earth resistance, and combustible gases.
